Buy Cardamom Online | Premium Farm-Direct from Rajakumary, Munnar
Buy the Cardamom That Changed Our Lives
We switched from black pepper (1 harvest/year) to cardamom (elaichi) (3-4 harvests/year). Now we grow the freshest, most aromatic cardamom in Kerala and ship it direct to your kitchen.
The 5 Reasons Cardamom Changed Everything
πΎ Farm-to-Home: August Harvest Peak + Premium Grade
Every August, our Rajakumary farm in Munnar reaches peak harvest. This is when cardamom quality is highest and prices are lowest. We hand-select only 8mm fruit-seed grade pods (90%+ seed fill). No middlemen. Packed fresh. Shipped within 2 days.
π° 3-4 Harvests Per Year (Not 1)
Black pepper? One harvest per December, then wait 11 months. Cardamom? June harvest, August peak, October harvest, plus sporadic winter flowers. This changed our farm income from lumpy to stable. For you: consistent fresh supply year-round, at seasonal prices.
β Handpicked Quality (We Discard 85% to Keep Best 15%)
Not all cardamom is equal. We handpick every pod, removing immature, hollow, and defective ones. Only full-seed pods with rich aroma reach you. This is why our cardamom tastes noticeably better than bulk commodity cardamom.
π Complete Process Transparency
Harvest β Grade β Sort β Hand-select β Pack β Ship. You know exactly what's in your cardamom. Harvest date printed on the pack, pod size specified, seed fill targeted at 75%+. No mystery, no middlemen markup.
π Online Sales Direct from Farm
We built our reputation offline. Now we're going direct online. No retailers, no resellers. You buy from the farm. Lower prices, fresher cardamom, farmer-to-customer connection. We care about your satisfaction because your repeat purchase is our success.

Frequently Asked Questions
Supermarket cardamom is usually commodity-grade, often sitting in warehouses for months. Our cardamom is handpicked (we remove 85% of defective pods), packed fresh within days of harvest, and comes with the harvest date printed on the pack. Most importantly: we only ship fruit-seed grade (8mm+ with 75%+ seed fill). Taste the difference in your first cup of chai.
August is the best time. This is when our harvest peaks, quality is highest, and prices are lowest. We recommend buying 1kg in August and storing it for the whole year β buying in January typically costs significantly more for older stock with fading aroma.
Store in an airtight glass container in a cool, dark place (pantry, not fridge). Peak aroma lasts 6β8 months. Check your cardamom every 2 monthsβif aroma is fading by May, buy fresh for summer cooking. Proper storage keeps it fresh much longer than store-bought.
Our farming practices are traditional and chemical-minimal, but we are not certified organic. We use natural fertilizers, manual pest control, and no chemical pesticides. If certified organic matters to you, contact us and we can advise on options.
