Cardamom Wholesale Pricing, Explained
You won't find a fixed price list on this page, and that's deliberate. Cardamom is sold through auctions and the rate moves week to week. What we can do is explain how a quote is built, so when you WhatsApp us for today's rate, nothing about it surprises you.
What sets your price
1. Grade
Bolder, fuller, greener pods cost more, because fewer pods in any harvest reach the top sizes. The gap between grades changes from season to season. See the grades guide.
2. The harvest and the market
A strong crop tends to soften prices; a weak one tightens them. We farm cardamom ourselves in Rajakumari and quote from the current market, not last month's. For a public reference, the Spices Board of India publishes daily auction prices.
3. Season
In Kerala the main picking season usually runs from around August into the winter months, when fresh-crop cardamom is most plentiful. Whether prices are higher or lower at a given time depends on the year.
4. Quantity
Larger orders can be quoted more keenly, but we don't have a fixed discount table. Tell us your grade and quantity and we'll give you our best rate for that order.
5. Payment and delivery
We quote for upfront payment. Delivery charges depend on quantity and destination and are shown separately in the quote.

FAQ
Why is bold, hand-sorted cardamom more expensive?
Only part of each harvest reaches the largest sizes, and hand-sorting takes time. The price reflects both.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Not as a fixed table. Bulk orders are quoted individually.
Do you supply lab reports?
Not currently. If your business needs them, tell us before ordering and we'll discuss options.
Do you offer credit terms?
Not at present. Orders are paid upfront.
How often do rates change?
Often, with the auction market. That's why we quote live.
