Black Pepper Wholesale from Kerala

Whole Kerala black pepper from the Idukki high ranges

Black Pepper Wholesale From Kerala

Black pepper is where our farm started. We're a farming family in Rajakumari, Idukki, with about 30 years of farming behind us. We later moved much of our land to cardamom, but pepper is still grown all around us in the high ranges. We supply whole black pepper from our own harvest and from neighbouring farms we've known for years.

Pepper prices move with the market, so we don't print a price list. WhatsApp us for today's rate.

What we can supply

  • Whole black pepper: sun-dried and cleaned. Economical if you'll grind it.
  • Cleaned and sorted pepper: extra cleaning to remove dust, light berries and stalks, better for retail packs and kitchens.

Availability depends on the season. Tell us your use and quantity, and we'll confirm what we can supply.

Why Kerala pepper

Kerala has grown and traded pepper for more than two thousand years, and "Malabar Pepper" is a registered Geographical Indication. Pepper vines here grow up shade trees in humid, rainy hill country, often alongside cardamom and coffee. Idukki and Wayanad are among the main growing districts; ours is Idukki.

What we check before dispatch

  • Dryness: properly sun-dried so it stores well.
  • Density: light and hollow berries removed.
  • Cleanliness: dust, stones and stalks removed.
  • Smell: sharp and fresh when crushed, never musty.

Is Kerala black pepper the same as Malabar pepper?

Malabar is the traditional trade name for pepper from this coast and its hills. Bold, graded Malabar pepper is sold as Tellicherry.

How long does black pepper stay fresh?

Whole pepper keeps its quality for a long time when stored cool, dry and sealed. Ground pepper loses aroma within months.
