Corporate Gifts With Kerala Spices: What to Send and When

3 min read

Answer-first guidance with a faster path to farm-origin Kerala products you can buy today.

Quick Summary

How to plan a corporate gift of Kerala spices, tea or coffee: which gift size fits your budget, what to include, how far ahead to order and the mistakes to avoid.

1 30 years of farming experience in Kerala
2 Farm-origin sourcing with stronger aroma retention
3 Small-batch packs designed for repeat kitchen use

For a corporate gift that people actually use, send a small pack of whole Kerala spices, tea or filter coffee, and order at least three weeks before you need it delivered. Fix the headcount and per-person budget first, pick one of three simple gift sizes, and add a short note on how to use what's inside.

Why spices, tea and coffee work as company gifts

Most people cook with cardamom or pepper, or drink tea or coffee every day. So the gift gets opened and used rather than pushed into a drawer.

They also suit almost everyone. Whole spices, tea and coffee are vegetarian, have no alcohol and don't need refrigeration. That makes them easier than sweets or dry-fruit boxes when a team has mixed diets or when some people are travelling.

And they carry a small story. A pack of cardamom from Idukki says more than a branded mug, without anyone needing to explain it.

Which gift size fits your budget?

Work out the per-person amount first, then match it to one of these:

Gift size What goes in Suits
Small One pack: cardamom, pepper or filter coffee Large teams, client thank-yous, event giveaways
Standard Two or three items, such as a spice combo or tea, coffee and honey Diwali, Onam or year-end gifts for a team
Generous A larger combo plus a card you write explaining each item Senior clients, long-service thank-yous

Ready-made combos keep the standard size simple: one box, one price per person, and no sorting of individual packs.

What to include for different people

  • People who cook: whole cardamom, black pepper and cloves. These get used in chai, biryani and everyday curries.
  • Tea and coffee drinkers: cardamom tea or South Indian filter coffee. No cooking needed.
  • Mixed or unknown teams: a tea, coffee and honey set. It's the safest choice when you don't know who cooks.
  • Remote staff: keep it light and compact, so it travels well by courier.

How far ahead should you order?

  1. Four weeks before: confirm headcount, budget and whether gifts go to one office or to individual homes.
  2. Three weeks before: share the list and quantities with the seller and confirm what's available. Good cardamom in larger quantities isn't always sitting ready, especially near festivals.
  3. Two weeks before: dispatch. Delivery usually takes 4 to 5 working days across India, but couriers slow down in festival weeks, so keep a buffer.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

  • Packs that are too big. A household rarely finishes a large pack of cardamom before it loses its smell. 50 g or 100 g is plenty.
  • Choosing ground spices. Powders fade within weeks. Whole spices look better in the box and keep far longer.
  • Ordering in the last week. That's when stock runs short and deliveries slip.
  • No note. A two-line card saying where the spices come from and one way to use them (for example, "crush two pods into your chai") makes the gift feel considered. You can print these yourselves in an afternoon.
  • Forgetting storage advice. Tell people to keep spices in a closed jar away from the stove. Our spice storage guide has the details if you want to share it.

Gifting for Diwali?

Festival gifts follow the same plan, just with less time to spare. For ideas specific to the season, see our Diwali spice gift guide.

How to order for a larger group

For a handful of gifts, you can order directly. The Kerala spice combo of cardamom, pepper and cloves and the tea, coffee and honey combo are the easiest starting points, and the rest is in our full range. Shipping is free on orders above ₹649.

For larger orders, message us on WhatsApp at +91 88482 65849 (or email purelevenexim@gmail.com) with your headcount, per-person budget, delivery addresses and deadline. We'll reply with what we can supply and by when, so you can plan around real dates. Want a custom mix instead, say cardamom, pepper and filter coffee with no tea? Tell us on WhatsApp what you'd like included and we'll put it together.
